This set is a TV projector manufactured
by S.I.T. (Società Italiana Televisione) (Italian Television
            Company).

In the ’50s and ’60s it was used in the halls to show the TV
            transmissions.

Furthermore, at that time, in the cinema halls it was
used to show the  TV transmissions during the pause of the films.

The set works with an high-brightness cathode-ray tube which, mounted
on a lens/mirror system, show the TV images on a wall screen.

            The
reception, of course, is only in VHF band.
