It’
s a beautiful treasure chest with the radio inside that switch on
when you open the cover.
“Lo Scrigno” is a superheterodyne set and can
receive the medium waves only.
This
set was found in excellent condition, wasn’t never restored, the
valves are still the ones used when the radio was sold, except 47
which probably has been replaced.
The argument "valves", in this set, is very interesting.
In 1933 there was a trade agreement between the American
RCA and the Italian Radiomarelli, also reflected by the
publicity at the time.
For this reason, in this radio, are used all the RCA Radiotron
tubes.
