Nepente is the radio-phonograph version of the Arione model.

It was manufactured in two versions which differs only in the shape of
the legs and the handles of the doors.

            It’s a
five tubes superheterodyne with a great sensitivity and, at the same
            time, a good selectivity.

            The
chassis and the circuit are the same to the ones of Arione and
            Tamiri models.
The electric diagram is typical and it’s a successful project,
these models work very well and can receive several stations on
            medium, long and short waves.
The four knobs, located on the front side, have the following
functions (from left to right): power switch/volume control, silent
switch/tone control, band rotating switch and tuning.

            The
turntable, which works only 78 laps, has the pick-up with the interchangeable pin system, like a gramophone. The electric
motor is a Paillard mod. 4000 (Swiss made) while the arm was
            manufactured by Radiomarelli.
