Presented
in 1933, Alauda is the smallest and cheapest set manufactured by
Radiomarelli at that time.
It’s a reflex superheterodyne which can receive only the medium
waves and the volume control operates in the antenna circuit.
The
filaments of the valves are connected in series and the power supply
is made by a little autotransformer which operates the mains voltage
adapter also.
A
lot of of these sets hasn’t the power supply switch.
Alauda
is conceptually similar to the Bosch mod. 402, you can see how the
chassis and the speaker are similar to the ones of American radio.
