This
set,
was imported and sold in Italy by the C.G.E (General
Electricity Company) in Milan, 1931.
At
that time, in the early '30s, CGE imported and marketed U.S.A. - RCA
radios.
To
make these radios most usefully in Italy, CGE equipped the sets with
a multi voltage input transformer. As can you see in the pictures,
this transformer was fixed in the wood, in the top wall, inside the
cabinet.
