313
is part of a wide range of "Néprádió" (People's Radio)
models manufactured in Hungary in the '50s.

            This
model is same to Orion 313 but was manufactured by Hungarian
            Philips.

            The
case is aluminium made and the
main feature of this unit is its extreme simplicity.

            It’s
a superheterodyne with fixed tuning, it hasn’t the dial and
it can receive only two national stations: Kossuth and Petőfi.

            The
power switch / volume control are operated by the right knob, the
left knob operates the rotating switch for the tuning and has
            three positions: 0 (silent) - K (Kossuth) - P (Petőfi). The
            central knob operates the fine-tuning.

            The
metal case, for safety reasons, is insulated from the chassis,
looking at the pictures you can see the bakelite ring spacers which
separates the chassis from its mounting.
At that time the selling price of the radio was 380 HUF.
