313 is part of a wide range of "Néprádió"
(People's Radio) models manufactured in Hungary in the '50s.

            This
model is conceptually similar to Orion 115A with some little circuit
            differences.

            Like
this one, most of the 313 have the aluminum case, but some of them
were manufactured with a wood case.
The main feature of this unit is its extreme simplicity.

            It’s
a superheterodyne with fixed tuning, it hasn’t the dial and
it can receive only two national stations: Kossuth and Petőfi.

            The
power switch / volume control are operated by the right knob, the
left knob operates the rotating switch for the tuning and has
            three positions: 0 (silent) - K (Kossuth) - P (Petőfi). The
            central knob operates the fine-tuning.

            The
metal case, for safety reasons, is insulated from the chassis,
looking at the pictures you can see the bakelite ring spacers which
separates the chassis from its mounting.
            This
version diffres from the other 313 for working with a selenium diode
            rectifier.
At that time the selling price of the radio was 380 HUF.
